Moose Finish Season 13-3

San Diego, CA - In a battle that showcased two western divison teams with at many points in the season, two of the highest powered offenses in the league, it came out in the end as a decisive victory for the Anchorage Moose.

The Mercury managed only six points after both kicker David Akers (Philadelphia) and their defense (Green Bay) dipped into negative figures. Akers had -2 points while the defense put -6 on the board. All that counteracted Peyton Manning's (Indianapolis) 8 points and Deuce McAllister (New Orleans) 4 points.

For the the Moose, Rich Gannon (Oakland), Koren Robinson (Seattle), and their defense (Washington) could have all out-scored the Mercury. Gannon had 9, Robinson 10, and the defense 14.

For the Moose, they finish the season 13-3 after recieving a first round bye in the playoffs. The Mecury, on the other hand, finish 13-4 after fighting their way through the playoffs from the Wild Card round.
